Dusty from the Walk

I shall spend two years in Israel at Hebrew University of Jerusalem. I hope to travel and spend time at sites, but more importantly, I want to grow closer to Jesus as a talmid (disciple) of His. What better thing than to walk right behind Him soaking up His every word and action?

Tomorrow's Move

Well, I'm heading to Hebrew University tomorrow and start modern Hebrew Ulpan (language school) on Wednesday. I'm excited about it. I'm about to be totally engulfed in Hebrew, and that's a blessing considering it hasn't changed much since Biblical Hebrew.

I've also been inspired to start my Greek back up. I'm planning to go through a few verses a day to get back into it. We'll see how that goes;-)

OK, one interesting fact before I close. When Jesus tells the parable of the soils he possibly gets the good soil of 100X from Gen when Isaac lies about his wife. When he stays in Gerar (which I visited recently), his crops multiply 100-fold. Just so you know, that's impossible outside of a miracle.

Shalom,

Geoff
